It is nice to think that quarantine might be a thing of the past sooner than later. Now that people are going back to the office workwear has been highly requested. For myself, it’s been a while since I had to throw on a suit and attend an in-person meeting. However, I love dressing up and when it comes to going to an office I always adored my workwear capsule wardrobe.
What is a capsule wardrobe??
A capsule wardrobe is a practice of editing your wardrobe down to your favorite clothes (clothes that fit your lifestyle + body right now), remixing them regularly, and shopping less often and more intentionally. A capsule wardrobe allows you to create many outfits only using what you have in your capsule wardrobe. A capsule wardrobe can change with each season.
What to include…
In a capsule wardrobe, you want to remember to bring in simple basics so it will be easy to mix with other pieces. This will also make it so simple to dress up or down – make sure to also incorporate accessories!!! If I want to bring in pops of color I will do a matching set of earrings + necklace…the bracelet stack will be toned down in silver + gold. If it’s a Friday and I want to be a little extra I’ll wear animal print and really colorful accessories!!
Buy the shoes…
The heels that I’m featuring today are super comfortable and literally go with anything. They are suede so I do spray them with a rain guard. This keeps them protected from rain or wet puddles or if a drink spills for a long time. I highly recommend them!! Will link them here.
