Fall is coming y’all are you all set with your fashion staples?? I am that’s for sure, and I also want to say that fall is my favorite season. I’m hoping to travel to some places this year that will satisfy my love for foliage and hot apple cider and we can’t forget the mums!!! If you have any recommendations please let a sister know.
I always get the question, “how much should I spend on a seasonal wardrobe?” I’m not sure I have the right answer, but I will say that I don’t spend that much on any seasonal pieces. I focus on basics first, then I add a handful of pieces that will give me a fall look (in this case). You must do a little research to get the info on the season’s color palette, specific trends, and then I recommend you go and look through your closet to sort out what you have. At this time, I also suggest you donate, give away to friends + family, and store away last season’s stuff. There’s no point in having summer clothes for fall, literally a waste of space.
Here I put together some affordable pieces to create a few looks. I love that these pieces are versatile and you can mix + match to make several outfits. Don’t forget your accessories! I usually add a hat, scarf, and a new bag. I always check out my handbag collection first – lavender is a new color for the fall so this is where I like to use a simple bag to add color. Target is a perfect place to find an affordable crossbody or shoulder bag in a season’s trendy color palette.
