A piece of history first…
Origin: mid 19th century (Crimean War): named after James Thomas Brudenel, 7th Earl of Cardigan (1797–1868), leader of the Charge of the Light Brigade, whose troops first wore such garments.
Moving on…
A cardigan otherwise known as a “cardi” has become popular over the years. They are affordable + versatile which makes it a hot commodity. I want to share a few of my favorite cardigans with you in today’s post. I have thrown in a little color as well as some neutrals for my monochromatic lovers.
car·di·gan
/ˈkärdəɡən/
noun: cardigan; plural noun: cardigans
a knitted sweater fastening down the front, typically with long sleeves.
All of the cardigans shown above come in a variety of colors and have made the “best sellers” list on Amazon. I also can vouch that they are great quality and make any #OOTD (outfit of the day) extra special + fashionable. As a woman who loves her fashion pieces, feeling confident in your outfit is important. A simple cardigan can keep you warm in a freezing grocery store and can also vamp up your LBD (little black dress) on a cool fall day or evening. Happy Shopping!
