Why I wear Spanx…
I swear I wear these Spanx leggings every year down into the ground. They really are a great pair to have as a staple in your closet. They come with a hefty price tag, $98 but that’s only because they are durable and will probably last you two years if you wear them as often as I do. I am 5’3″ and I order mine in petite – in the past when I’ve ordered regular they are a tad bit too long. When they go on major sale make sure to snag a couple – you’ll be happy you did. Tip #1: wash them in the machine inside out and then hang to dry – this will make them last an extra long time.
Invest in a pair of booties…
Nix booties have quickly become a favorite thing and I can literally keep them on all day long. You can find these here. It did take some breaking in sessions but it wasn’t anything terrible and my feet didn’t fall off which is a good thing, I guess. When it comes to my booties I always make sure they are 100% real leather, this ensures that they will break in nicely and be extra comfy to walk in. You can never go wrong with a brown pair like these and a black pair. If you want to be extra try to snag a pair of your favorite animal print, mine is snakeskin. Gosh, I love those, and every time I put them on my inner diva comes to life. Tip #2: you only need one pair of animal print booties/boots.
Walmart has upped their fashion game…
I can’t leave you without mentioning this really cute top. I scooped it up while on Walmart dot com the other night. It does run larger than normal, I’m wearing size S (typically I order M). The fact that its animal print in the simplest way and the ruffle detail makes me fall in love with it. Its cute details take this whole OOTD (outfit of the day) up a few notches making it look fun + chic.
