A shacket is a shirt thick enough to be halfway between a shirt and a jacket—an ideal, year-round layering piece. It started trending some time last year in the fall season. Now, you can see them all over the place in solid colors, plaid prints, and a variety of textures too, like corduroy.
I love all shades of browns + cream colors so I naturally gravitated to this plaid shacket. It is pretty lightweight considering this can keep you warm. I also love that it has a little bit of stretch in the material which makes is super comfy to wear. This fabric is not itchy like many others I’ve tried and returned. The sleeves are the perfect length too. The last one I ordered from Pink Lily the sleeves were way too short so I had to send it back. Sad too because it was in a pink plaid and I loved it so much.
