Sephora VIB Rouge Sale
As you may have heard, Sephora is currently having their VIB sale.  Which means if you are a VIB Inside or VIB Rouge status you have this opportunity to SAVE 15% off of your entire purchase at Sephora.  Here’s the difference between both VIB Insider & VIB Rouge, if you are Rouge status you’ll get a head’s start on shopping earlier than Beauty Insider.  Either way, you’ll get to save and get some of the products or items you’ve been holding out on.  I am VIB Rouge. This year I wasn’t able to get to the store or online fast enough.  Some people may think that 15% is not much of a discount.  Well, I beg to differ.  If you shop at a place like Sephora often.  You’ll agree that when Sephora offers any discount whatsoever, ummmm….you better take advantage.  I typically set it up where over the year I make a “wish list” on Sephora’s website.  That way when the sale approaches I am ready with a focused list of what I really want.  I also leave room in my budget to shop new arrivals.  Now, let me share what I put in my shopping cart…

1. Dr. Jart Bright Lover Rubber Mask.

This was something I have been wanting to try because it sounds a bit unusual.
I know Dr. Jart has come out with really good products so I’m hoping I will not be disappointed.

2. Tom Ford Lip Color.

I finally pick up one of these slightly obsessed products by Tom Ford in Spanish Pink, a blogger’s most mentioned color.  So far, it is comfortable on the lips and the color is amazing.

3. Coola Dawn Patrol Classic Makeup Primer SPF 30.

I was sold at “primer” and “SPF”.  I couldn’t believe it when I pick it up and read that it was all of these wonderful things all in one.  It sets, hydrates, protects, what more could you ask for?  Will be doing a review on this real soon, as I will be using it on my trip to Ft. Lauderdale this weekend (Todd’s Birthday).

4. Jo Malone London Wood Sage Sea Salt Cologne.

If you have never sprayed this on your body – you haven’t lived.  Jo Malone has come out with the most amazing fragrances that are also nicely blended with other fragrances within the line.  They are basically developed to wear alone or blended for an optimal scent that suits just about anyone.

5. Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick.

I couldn’t leave this sale without picking up one of YSL’s lipsticks.  They are one of my favorite lipsticks in all of the beauty industry.  They smell of my favorite summer fruit, summer.  They have plenty of pink & nude shades to choose from, and they are long wearing.  What else do you want?  I picked up the color #49 Rose Tropical.

6. Tom Ford Moisturecore Lipstick.

I chose to take home the color Carriacou, as I almost always sway towards peachy, pinky tones.  This lipstick color is perfect, and I have to warn you it is rather sheer.  It does color your lips but this is more of a conditioning balm like lipstick.  Not sure if the price matches the quality of this one in particular.  I will see how I feel in a few more days.  But I do love the color even if it’s more on the sheer side.

7. Fresh Rose Floral Toner.

This is a repurchase for my shopping cart.  This is a product that I always love to have on hand.  It really does a great job of balancing the ph levels of your skin.  Especially, after cleansing and exfoliating.  I also love how soft the rose scent is as you spray it on your face.  The spray is also very pleasant.  I’m glad I picked up because they are always SOLD out.  Which can only mean one thing – it’s a good product.

8. Kevin Aucoin Neo Setting Powder.

I bought this for the setting my under eye area.  I have a friend that uses this under her eye area and loves it.  I am trying to find something else that works well.  At the moment, I am still using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder – which I love.  But I am hoping to find something different just for a change.  I have high hopes for this product by Kevin Aucoin.

9. L’Occitane Almond Eco Refill Combo Pack.

This was a super deal as it comes with a FULL-size body wash/oil, and a refill.  I love this product for shaving, cleansing, and for the scent.  If you have ever smelled almond extract that is basically what it smells like.  Don’t get me wrong, it is WAY more luxurious than almond extract.  This is definitely a repurchase for me.

10. Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum.

I have heard and read so many wonderful reviews on Drunk Elephant’s products.  Since I’ve been on the hunt for a product that will work wonders in my under eye area.  I decided to splurge a bit and see what the fuss is all about.  I also have high hopes for this serum.

11. Bumble and Bumble Hair Dresser’s Invisible Oil Cleansing Oil-Crème Duo.

I have been really enjoying the results of my hair when I use B&B products.  It is apparent that B&B spends a lot of time and research in producing great quality.  So it didn’t take me too long to decide on this product.  Especially, if you are a person who goes days in between hair washes.

12. Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk Fragrance.

My family and I will be taking a few sandy beach vacations this year.  So what better than to have a fragrance with you to set the tone?  The smell of this is dreamy and goes well with any daydream adventure at any beach.  I have truly found my summer scent.

13. Benefit Cosmetics Cheek Parade.

This cheek palette is life while traveling.  If you are anything like myself deciding on which blush to take with you is a problem.  Only because I have a drawer full of some many great ones.  This palette solves everything and when you open it up is makes me smile.  The beautiful colors and the options you are blessed with.  Oh, girl!  You need this in your life.  BTW, I somehow forgot to put a number on this item, oops.  It’s the only one without a number on it.
