National Dog Day…

National Dog Day was a few days back on August 26th.  I couldn’t leave this day unnoticed or unmentioned, if only my hosting service that I was using for my telemed vet clinic software was cooperating that day.  If you guys have been following me for some time now, you know that Nittany Mae is my two-year-old (official 2 yr old on 11/22) Schnoodle.  She also happens to be a huge part of my life.  She wakes up with me, walks with me, listens when I need to talk, we eat snacks together, she sleeps with me, travels with me….  You get the picture.

Before we got Nittany Mae, I never really knew what it was like to have a pet.  I never understood how humans can treat pets like children or like people period.  I will own it!!!  I totally understand now, because Nittany is like another member of our family.  I love her, I could never imagine treating her badly, and I want all the best for her.  It doesn’t matter what it is from groomers to the food she eats.  These things are important.  On a deeper note, I am a firm believer of where there is truth there is trust – you get that with dogs.  That is what makes the relationship between humans & pets so different from any other relationship.

With all of that being said, I thought this would be the perfect time to share some recent pics with you.
