Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a few beauty products. You know, trying to get the perfect combo for my skin. I do love a full coverage foundation. I also am interested in longevity, and why not throw in some luminosity too? Do you look for the same things in you beauty products? Well, I am still in discovery with the Dior Star foundation, although, I have to say I am enjoying it greatly right now. Have you tried it yet? I didn’t purchase the full bottle. I asked for a few samples and they gladly gave them to me – so helpful.
A few weeks ago, I rediscovered my love for Becca Matte Skin Shine Proof Foundation $42. Check it out here. I am satisfying my needs for a full coverage with this product, “could this be a perfect world afterall?”. It literally makes your skin look flawless effortlessly. Especially, when I mix in Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector – Opal $41 (check it out here); together it creates something so elegant. You get the matte from the foundation and the luminosity from the skin perfector. No glitter here just finely milled lustre. Instantly, your skin looks smooth, dewey, and flawless. If that hasn’t sold you, just think of the skin that you’ve always dreamed of having. Okay… maybe I’ve gone overboard.
Two of my favorite tools for applying my makeup, are 1.) Sigma Angled Kabuki F84, $24; and 2.) The Original Beauty Blender $19.95. The F84 is a great brush and will last a long time if you care for it properly. It is great for getting into all the “hard” to reach places on your face. It does an amazing job at applying the makeup without leaving streaks all over the place. Do you know what I mean? The Beauty Blender plays a good partner role here. It works the magic of blending out your concealer for a flawless finish. You can also use it to apply your foundation or other liquid products. Either way, you are left with a lighter makeup application but with the full coverage result. The duo works amazing together and I don’t know what I’d do if they were discontinued. Ok…let’s not talk about that.
