The highlighting technique can instantly turn your skin from drab to fab in seconds. I am no expert but I’ve had my fair share of trial & error with highlighting. If you don’t know or understand how to do it – go grab a glass of wine, and have a YT marathon. It is really amazing how artists or self-taught YTubers transform themselves. If you learn a few simple steps, it will take you a long way.
I remember when I first started highlighting, I applied it all over my face. I thought I looked so cool with the gleaming mounds of highlight. I’m sure you could have spotted me five blocks down the street. Well, let’s just say I’ve practiced and you know what they say, “practice makes perfect”. I can’t really say that I’ve perfected this technique yet. I can say, I’ve learned the areas to highlight and why we accentuate those areas, to say the least. It’s pretty impressive what a lite glow will do for your skin. With just a small amount your complexion looks healthier and more youthful. It really doesn’t matter your age – there is a formula for you. I have learned that cream highlighters work best for more mature skin. Powder highlighters work best for younger generations. All in all, in my opinion – I think we can make either one work for us. Yes?
As I was going through all of my makeup collection – excuse me, “highlight” collection. I came across ten highlighters that are phenomenal and work effortlessly to blend out for a more natural look. You’ll definitely glow without all of the glitter that can be annoying (especially in pictures). If you haven’t already gotten your hands on these babies – I can’t wait till you do. You’ll be obsessed.
Why I choose these 1o highlighters?
1. Easy to blend.
2. The lasting power on the skin.
4. Gives a glow without overdoing it.
5. Finely milled for a softer focus finish.
8. Good for all skin types.
9. I loved the packaging.
10. No scent or fragrance in the product.
I hope this post was helpful and inspired you to be the best you can be. Well, at least until you want to learn how to contour. Now that will have to be another post on its own. Happy highlighting!
